Steve Klueg joined Wastequip as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2016, bringing more than 25 years of financial leadership expertise, with an emphasis on manufacturing organizations. During his tenure at Wastequip, Steve also served as president of the Parts division from 2019 to 2021. Under his leadership, Wastequip insourced its parts distribution, added machine shop capabilities to manufacture parts and launched the Wastequip WRX service center concept.
Prior to joining Wastequip, Steve served as CFO at The Affinia Group and ReCommunity Recycling, where his responsibilities included financial strategy and planning, financial reporting, investor relations, auditing, forecasting, pricing initiatives and business development to increase profitability and strengthen accountability. During that time, he also played a key role in conducting corporate development initiatives for acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to his time as a CFO, Steve served as treasurer at World Fuel Services Corporation and assistant treasurer at Ingersoll Rand and SPX Corporation. Earlier, he held various positions in accounting, corporate development and financial planning and analysis. Steve, who is a certified public accountant and certified managerial accountant, earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University.
